Best treatment for a sore throat?

It's not strep throat, but i have a sore throat and i call for to hostess tonight :( any suggestions/quick fixes?Best treatment for a sore throat?
There really isn't anything to get rid of a sore throat, but you can treat the symptoms. You could try cough drops or chloraseptic spray. If it's really bloody you could also take some Tylenol as powerfully. That's really about it I hope this help.

Warm some lemon liquid and add lots of honey within it.
Drink it warm.

honey tea and honey throat lozenges. Take some cold Tylenol and filch a long rest. You should be better in no time. also drink like mad of fluids. If none of that helps step to the Doctor.
I've tried the whole gargle warm saline water and cough drops and it help for a little bit but what help me are those ice pops. The cold numbs my throat so it doesn't hurt and they drink good too.
gargle near warm brackish water. specifically what my grandmother use to have me do when i have a sore throat.
