Ive looked up some of the remedies, i tried soaking them in milk - didnt work. ive wash them, now im wondering if anyone have actually tried rubbing alcohol and does that work?Burned my hand adjectives chili pepper?
LOL! That happen to me years ago. I chopped up a bunch of hot peppers to fashion hot sauce and spent the next several hours soaking my hand in rime water. Every time I took my hand out, they started burning again. It was awful.
The substance surrounded by hot peppers is excess weight soluble, so I would suggest putting vegetable oil on your hand and wiping if past its sell-by date. It just might facilitate. Drinking milk after eating pepper works on the same principle - the rotund in the milk absorb the "hotness" from the peppers.
You should buy the "Food Chopper" from Pampered Chef. That point is the best ever for foods like chili pepper & onions. Or if you don't want to buy the chopper...cut the chili peppers near the skin side up. This way you wont be touching the inside cog of the peppers and your fingers wont burn. Trust me. I've skilled all my friends this "technique." I'm Mexican, and almost everything I cook have to have chili pepper. lol.
I am sorry, but I really don't have any remedy for you at this time, but the subsequent time you cut up chili peppers, or any other type of hot pepper for that matter, wear the type of gloves doctors use when examining patients. They can be purchased at any medical equipment store. Discard when you enjoy finished cutting up the pepper. Hope this helps.
