It sounds approaching you are trying to convey the fact that the computer work is the root motivation of your problem. Perhaps it is. If that is indeed the bag then as you work you continually irritate the shoulder. After work you may want to try to place an rime pack on the shoulder for about 10 to 15 minutes and cool it down to delineate the inflammation. Give this a try for a couple of weeks and see if it helps. I am not a devotee of applying heat, but if the rime does not do the trick try soaking your shoulder in a melt bath tub. If your work is the problem after ideally removing the insult would be the key, try rearrange your work station to ease the stress on your arm. One word of guardedness about what the doctor may do. He/she may want to administer you a cortisone shot and this will drastically reduce the inflammation and anguish in short directive. The problem is is that the pain will return contained by about 2 weeks and you will be rear legs for another shot. Cortisone is catabolic and will actually guzzle the tissues of your shoulder and long term will hurt more than support. If possible avoid the shot totally. I have see the actual physical results on cadavers of injected cortisone and believe me it is not pretty. Structures that should enjoy been in that are either gone or very water down and weak. You enjoy been warn.
I have bursitis surrounded by my hips. Rest is best for treatment. Because this is an inflammation, do ice your shoulder An anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen can bring intervening relief..best wishes!
