I reciently thought of this question: Can a human brain become infected by a virus or other germ? After adjectives, there are lots bacteria surrounded by the bloodstream. So why can't the brain become infected? Is it just that the fatty content of the brain isn't terribly ...yummy... for germs? Are there germs that do that, and are simply undercooked? Or does the brain have special ways to kill in cold blood these germs before they can find there? I own never heard of a "brain infection" save for cancer or a mental disease, and that's not what i'm talking nearly. Can brains become infected?
The brain has a protective level around it filled beside Cerebro-spinal fluid that keeps MOST germs out. Some return with through,ie menengitis-
hope that helps!
yes I believe its call encephalitis
There are all kind of brain infections...
Yes, brains do get infected. However the brain is relatively in good health protected from infections by what is called the Blood-Brain barrage. This prevents most organisms that infect the blood from ever reaching the brain.
