My parents were have a "creative discussion" about it and they told me to find out so yeah. I'm curious to know though. Can eggs be contaminated next to ecoli (or any other germs?)?
Absolutely. The egg shell is porous, so stuff can and sometimes does bring in near. That's why everyone always warn to fully cook eggs.
oh yes my dear they can be, and can lead to severe food poisoing conditions. but it is extremely rare.
There's a possibility that an red egg could have salmonela surrounded by it. Poultry can have it too.
if an egg is cracked and unwashed, fecal thing can penetrate it and spoil it. I'm not sure if it is ecoli or another fecal disease but it can come about. (oh , it can also happen if you poo surrounded by your eggs.)
salmonella is the biggest risk of contamination i would say
