Finax (generic Propecia or finasteride) 1mg tablet is used for Hair Loss (baldness), NOT diabetes. In larger doses, finasteride 5mg is known as Proscar and used for benign prostate hypertrophy.
Side Effects: decreased libido (sex drive); decrease volume of ejaculate; impotence (trouble getting or keeping an erection); or breast tenderness or intensification.
Contra-indications: Women who are or who may become pregnant must not handle crushed or broken Propecia tablets. Propecia can be enthralled through the skin and can cause birth defect in a developing masculine baby.
