Can anyone give an account me going on for italian hospitals?

A friend has a relative contained by one and isn't getting the information he wants. Do they enjoy nurse specialists, like contained by the uk? How can one find out answers if the doctors are evasive?Can anyone give an account me going on for italian hospitals?
Unfortunately in my experience (I hold lived in Italy for 10 years and enjoy been treated surrounded by and had relatives treated surrounded by hospitals), doctors in public hospitals are not severely forthcoming with information to patients.
There is a terribly old-fashioned attitude along the lines that any the patient is powerless of comprehending the diagnosis or shouldn't be questioning the all-knowing, all-powerful doctor. And roughly they need to achieve information from the doctors...as far as I know there is nil similar to a nurse specialist or physician's assistant as in the U.S.
I would right to be heard that if your friend's relative is a foreign national (not Italian), that their embassy or consulate should be called for assistance. Often if someone approved is in the middle you can gain better service. Also, if there is a writing problem going on (does your friend's relative speak Italian) they need state official involved or at least someone who can translate. I know the public hospitals surrounded by Florence have a volunteer corps of translators that can minister to with idiom barriers, but the translators are few and far between. It might be best to hire a private service.

They have one hospital surrounded by Napoli (Naples) that the locals call the 50/50 hospital.
50% obtain well and come out of the front of the building, the rest are carried out of the put a bet on!!
As for doctors and nurses, they all operate on like peas in a pod basis and most european states enjoy a reasonable copy.
