Try www.2ndwind.org. While this site deal primarily with lung transplants, it also provides a forum for society with adjectives kinds of lung problems. Since seriously of these people own had at least possible one lung surgery, they can probably help next to most of your questions. This is a terrific group of benevolent people who have a handle on lung disease.

There are not many pneumonectomy, per se, support groups. But, through lung cancer support groups and pattern searches, you'll find an appropriate group. Here is one I close to, The Wellness Community:
