Yes, adults can get thrush, and no, listerine will not assassinate it. You need a antibiotic mouth rinse. See a doctor.
Yes adults can catch it.Avoid kissing children. Try nystatin drops. It will help.
This could be thrush or - oral yeast infection. Same point.
Does your mouth hurt? Is your tounge really red or bright pink? These are other signs.

The treatment for such would be a swish and swallow mixture of nystatin.
It is a prescribtion med. You should get within to the doctor and see wether or not it is oral yeast/ thrush. They can tell by looking.

thrush would be a fungal problem. Try eating more yogurt and no sweets - sugar will nurture the problem. Listerine may help, I don't know. Probably wouldn't hurt.
