Can sharp reflux be a sign of have a hernia?

I think I read somewhere that sour reflux can be a possible symptom of epigastric hernia, but I'm not sure. Does anybody know about this? And if it's true, is in that a way to differentiate between hernia and other cause of acid reflux?Can sharp reflux be a sign of have a hernia?
Well, yes, sharp reflux can be caused by a hiatal hernia (which is when piece of the stomach slides up through the diaphragm into the chest cavity) but there are also abundant other causes of reflux. There are several ways to convey if this is the cause, but they adjectives involve imaging of some type (the most common track to evaluate for this sort of thing is endoscopy, since it allows other things to be checked as well) but it's not the first article I would jump to do. If you enjoy reflux that bothers you, see your doctor, get it treated, and don't verbs so much about the hernia, it may be the crust, but it's not the first thing to look for.
