Can a inbred sunburn inflict skin cancer?

some girl i know says that getting a sunburn causes skin cancer?
I reckon she doesn't know what she's talking in the order of... i thought getting burnt increases your likelihood of getting skin cancer?

Everything cause cancer nowadays.
Any type of sun exposure increases your risk for skin cancer. Your skin soaks surrounded by UVA and UVB rays from the sun whenever you are outside (without sunblock on). Even if you do not get adjectives you are still getting exposure, increasing your risks for cancer.
Well, spending a long amount of time in the sun, (that includes tanning) does increase your likelihood of getting skin cancer, but that doesn't mean everybody who tans will grasp skin caner.
Any time you're exposed to the sun, your skin is being dog-eared by the rays. This increases your chance of getting skin cancer, but similar to someone else said, it doesn't mean you WILL bring back cancer.
A tan is your body responding to excess sun. The more you sunburn, the higher your risk of some form of skin cancer. You call for a certain amount of raw sunlight every day. But if you are going to be out contained by the sun between 11am and 4pm, it is best to wear sunblock (SPF 30 or up - and make sure you put closely on or it doesn't work and make sure to put it on 15-30 minutes formerly going outside) Protecting your skin also helps protect it against premature aging. Tanning is the number one wreak of premature aging of the skin. I don't think it is worth tanning much.
It's not that a unprocessed tan will raison d`¨otre skin cancer per se. It is the overexposure to UV sunlight that can cause skin cancer.
Try not to be surrounded by direct sunlight without protection close to your sunblock or a hat or something.
