Can a soul bring a pancreas transplant and would that cure diabetes?
LOL at drjrumley because his 3 rules are right.
The pancreas is VERY delicate to work beside and the anti rejection drugs are worse than being diabetic.
99% of the time a pancreas trasplant is just considered if the patient wishes another organ transplanted (such as a kidney transplant which is often the grip for diabetics.)
Diabetes isn't a death sentance. Don't produce any more worries about your relationship than the ones that are already within.
Well a pancreas transplant could cure diabetes if it is caused by the inability to produce insulin. If the being has a receptor fault or other insulin resistance then it would not backing. Pancreas transplants are very firm since it autolyses often and is considered the biggest throbbing in the bum for a surgeon to work on. It is so straitlaced that infact 3 rules of surgical residency was formed:
1 Eat when you can
2 Sleep when you can
3 Dont touch the pancreas
A pancreas transplant is one and only done when having a kidney transplant. The anti-rejection drugs can be more insecure that just treating diabetes. Therefore it is never done alone.
There have been a extremely poor success rate for this procedure.
Good concept but it doesn't work.
