im not trying to diagnose myself but iv got my long awaited results from an mri (suspected MS) and of late wanted to know what the difference b/w a normal/abnormal scan is, probably if anyone here knows a website next to images? (im waiting on a report from the radiologist)
thank youBrain and spinal cord lesion?
Well you stipulation to leave this one to the radiologist and neurologist. You necessitate to look for demylination of the central nerves. You will see essentially white spots on the brain (depending if it is T1 or T2 weighted im assuming T1) . Now some white spots are common and I am from Larimer County colorado with the greatest rate of MS. I worked directly with a neurologist near and we found that MS can be controlled very all right with modern medication. Just patiently skulk and demand that you enjoy the films explained to you at the visit. God Bless.
My husband have brain stem lesions. It bled 12/06 and we hold been taking it sometime at a time. I have looked at adjectives of his scans and as a "normal" personage it is hard to integer out what is what ! Dark spots are blood- and my husband has a venous amangioma and it looked approaching a "worm". Hang in in that. Hopefully the results won't take that long. You will be contained by my prayers- Proverbs 3:5-6
I would wait for the experts to report as MRIs can be strong to interpret. I have mine here and two years after the report an still trying to digit out what is what!
