I be wondering what could be the cause of my callus. I'm an artist, so do you have an idea that it could be a writing callus?
Also, is it possible to get rid of the callus? If so, what methods can I use (preferably nought to do with chemicals)?Calluses on my middle finger!?
You are probably gripping your pencil, pen, brushes too tightly, and that is what is cause the callus.
The solution is very simple...train yourself not to grip your tools rather so hard.
Stop flipping culture off...to be exact why you got those callouses!
I don't devise it's anything to worry more or less. I was a musician (violist, still am, although I don't play as much anymore), and I get them on the tips of all of the fingers on my departed hand. Mine adjectives had creases within the middle where the strings fit. Kind of strange looking, I guess, but I never considered removing them. I think you may be capable of file them down next to a pumice or something, like you would if you get them on your feet. Hope that help.
no chemicals!! just writing.
finger callus come from writing too much.
a callus is just a complete bunch of thick skin.
too much rubbing on your finger (meaning the pencil) can grounds thick skin. i hold a callus on my ring finger!
I agree with Jill.
Also callus form for good reason better to have them than own to earn them back following in a short time of time (I'm a bassist, stopped playing for 6 mos and then found out it is possible to play until your fingers bleed).
